Ingeborg Klarenberg 

Ingeborg Klarenberg (Netherlands) is a microbial ecologist and researcher in soil biodiversity at the Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment. She earned her PhD in biology at the University of Iceland and has held academic positions at the University of Akureyri and VU Amsterdam. Her work includes studies on mosses and lichens as hosts for bacterial, fungal, protist, and animal communities including mites and springtails.
