Sophie Seita

Sophie Seita is an artist and researcher who works with language as a sensuous, sculptural, and sonic material, translated and moulded into live performances, performative objects, publications, sound pieces, videos, drawings, textiles, scores, and somatic workshops. She teaches in the Art Department at Goldsmiths, University of London, and recently held the Werner Düttmann Fellowship at Akademie der Künste (Berlin), a research residency at Studio Voltaire (London), and in 2025-2026 is one of 5 nominated artists taking part in the pilot residency and artistic research network ‘Songs of Serpents: Ecopoetic Zones’.
