Carle Gent is an artist from Bexhill-on-sea.
She received her MFA in Fine Art from Goldsmiths in 2015 and is a current DPhil Fine Art candidate at the Ruskin School of Art, Oxford where she is developing a new body of work looking at how artmaking can meaningfully expand our recognition of the queer and internal lives of nonhuman creatures?
In 2022 Monitor Books published her debut pamphlet ‘The Balls of Alban’. She has also recently published ‘Felon Herb’ with Kelder Press and ‘All Us Girls Have Been Dead for So Long’ with Arcadia Missa, an iteration of her cli-fi musical co-written with Linda Stupart.
